NCScene is looking for writers that would like a unique section of their own in which to write about local & semi-national bands that are playing in the North Carolina area. We do things differently around here, and want any potential future writer to know what we would like to see in a new section on this site.
What we are looking for:
- Style of music must somewhat fit into ROCK/METAL/HARDCORE genres of music.
- Unique & creative writing talents expressing your own individuality in your column.
- Comical sections or parodies are welcome, but we do not want our writers totally trashing local artists.
- Must somewhat be related to music, but other topics are welcome as well.
- Sections can have different parts if it sounds like something that would be interesting to read.
What we don’t want:
- Sections that are just links to YouTube videos with no creativity.
- Racist/Hate type sections.
- Sections that are filled with duplicate content from other articles already on the web.
Perks Of Being A Writer:
- Guest List/Free Music/Free Merch from bands that you write about (you would work out).
- Resume building potential of writing for an established music website (online for OVER 10 YEARS now).
- Revenue sharing in any advertising you refer to the site (money in your pocket).
- Write what you want, no editor to approve it.
- Post your articles, reviews & commentary 24 hours per day through a control panel.
- All comments to any of your articles is socially integrated with FaceBook and can be shared.
- NCScene will automatically post links to your articles on our Twitter & FaceBook account once published.
