Promo CD Printing?
« on: October 08, 2006, 04:37:04 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has a good place to get 50 or 100 promo CDs done? I want full color on the CD and I want a full color cardboard promo CD insert as well for the CD to slide into. Anyone have any links or any places in Raleigh?

Also, any places that will do 50-100 full CD packaging?

We are looking at http://www.diskfactory.com . I found them through Muscians Fiend... I cannot vouch for their work as of yet, but they do appear affordable.

Has anyone used these guys, as I would like some feedback as well.

Yeah, I had looked at diskfactory as well.  When I ran my record lable I did large volume (pressings of 1000 or more CDs) but now for my band I am looking for smaller runs.  Anyone else got any info?

Sam Ash\'s Disc-Direct pricing:
http://discdirect.samashmusic.com/action/ProductPricingView?pricing=true

Guitar Center pricing:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/cdduplication/

The Guitar Center deal is through Disk Factory....

It does not sound like a bad deal though.

Full color CD

Standard Jewel Case

Full Color tray liner

Two panel insert (full color)

for about $250.00 for 100 copies.

Its the best I have found, but once again, I have not seen their work, so I would not vouch for that.

I just got 100 CDs from Diskfactory (via guitar center) and I must say I am very impressed.  Very close to store quality, and unless you were really looking for a difference you would not know the difference.

Highly recormended.

No problem.  I have printed about 8000-9000 copies of Pro CDs in the past when I had my record lable so I know what they should look and feel like and I am happy with the diskfactory ones.  For the majority of the people that are goin to buy the CD they will not notice a difference.

On a side note I was just listening to your music on Myspace and I like the music, very cool.

I just pos a tread in the General Discussion section (Death Metal Song) and I am looking for feedback.  If you have time and are interested check out the thread and let me know what you think.  It is a bit more straight forward death metal but you might like it.

Check out Beyond Concepts for short run cd duplication.  They are good and have a slick interface.
